----- Original Message ----- From: Valerie Guyer To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Sent: Wednesday, June 21, 2006 10:23 PM Subject: stuff on the web Finally I figured out how to ask my listserve people a question. I can't elieve I was making this a difficult process. I am taking a library science class at ECU and I wanted to ask this group a question. I have been exploring blogs and web pages on students. I have looked at former students and kids I know that are good kids and an't believe that these kids have this stuff on the World Wide Web for everyone to see. I'm not saying they are dirty pictures but there are hand gestures and personal information that I would not want my child putting out there. Does no one monitor their children. Do parents not know what is going on? I would not have if I were not forced to look at this stuff f or this class. Parents need to know about this. In high school do they not tell parents these things? Concerned!!!!??
