At the 2006 ALA Annual Conference (June 22-28, New Orleans, LA), attend "The Best of the Best from the University Presses: Books You Should Know About" Sunday, June 25, 2006 Time : 1:30 pm Place : Morial Convention Center, Room 294 Learn about great books for your library, and get a chance to win some, too! University presses represent an often undiscovered gold mine of resources for libraries. At this program, AASL and PLA librarians will introduce recent titles they have found to be The Best for a variety of reasons. Come discover 27 book titles from a variety of subjects and presses, and learn why they should be acquired for library collections. * Book Raffle at the end of the program!
