Forgive me if I am repeating others, but I am new to this particular 
discussion. It seems to me that two points are necessary:
First, ID is probably not indexed because it is a new theory, at least the 
title given to Intelligent Design is new.
Second, we as librarians are not supposed to insert personal bias into 
collection decisions. While gathering sources for our patrons we should do 
so with an eye to covering all sides of an issue. In this way our patrons, 
be they teachers, students, staff or community, will have the ability to 
make their own decision on critical issues with the information we have 
provided them.
