http://www.opendns.com/start/ I wanted to try this method for speeding up my router, but my Linksys model (BESFR41) was not listed, AND although there were instructions provided for a single computer hookup, I have an iMac and a Windows PC wired to my Linksys, so I got spooked out of trying it. NY /Times /columnist David Pogue, who read about it in /PC World/, claims that...."Once I plugged the Open DNS addresses into my router, the wait time for a complex Web page went from 3-4 seconds down to 1-2, on both my Macs and PC's" http://pogue.blogs.nytimes.com/ If you try it, let me know if you get the same speed jumps that David says he got. -- Gordon Walter Retired AGWSR School Librarian 101 Hilltop Drive Ackley, Iowa 50601 Tel: 641-847-3315 Email: gordonwalter@mchsi.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
