Hi All, I have returned to the elementary level after a few years at the middle and am having a dilemma while trying to clean up a neglected catalog. We have several of the early reader/easy chapter type books, such as "An I Can Read" "First Readers" "Step Into Reading" "Easy to Read" etc. Some of these books the LOC has catalogued E and some as FIC. I would like to shelve them all together for easy searching, but I'm not sure what to use--should I just leave them whatever they were designated and put a special shelving note in the copy record? Any ideas? Also, what about books like the Amelia Bedelia that I always remember being in the E section--now that they are published in the early reader format, they are coming as FIC. What do you all do??? I will post a hit so if you are responding with that request only, consider it done! Thanks so much. -- Jan M.
