Hello, I have the answer. Read 'em and weep: I believe (and this is a guess based on past experience) what happens is that the sound files do not get sent with the PPT. When you make the PPT, the sound files are not really a part of the PPT. PPT goes to the location to play them. You have to get the PPT and the sound files tothe recipient. You can zip the PPT and the sound files. The recipient unzips them and then the sound will play. It's possible that there are other solutions but that's what my tech support advised me to do. However, there are other software products are web-based and eliminate the tech mess involved here. Have you tried E-vite or Photostory? And if you have a MAC, then all of this is child's play in ilife. You have to send the sound file separately. One of the few shortcomings to ppt, in my opinion. When I send ppts with sound, I make a zip file and send it to the recipients, that way they get downloaded into the same folder. Thank you for the quick responses! Maryalice R.
