Thank you to the 16 people who helped me out on my survey concerning the call number field. What I wanted was to have are some numbers showing to what extent there is a "standard" across the automation systems. In case you are interested in my results. It was useful for me. I had 16 responses; 1 Athena, 1 Caspr, 1 OCLC, 2 Cir Cat, 3 Info Center, 3 Circ+Cat+ and 5 Destiny. 11 use 082 as the call number field 2 use 090, 1 has 092 1 has 851 and one has 852 There was varity within the different automation programs.
