I'd like to thank those who sent me the directions. I know I wouldn't have been able to get the answer as quickly on my own. For those who are also having trouble, I've copied the instructions below: Issue: When printing book labels from Accelerated Reader Renaissance Place or AR BookGuide 3.x, the text is not aligned correctly. Reason: Depending on your printer, printer driver version, and/or version of Adobe Reader, you may need to adjust some settings. Resolution: Preview the Book Labels report and click the Adobe Print icon. (Do not use the browser’s print icon and do not choose Print from the browser’s File Menu.) Make the following changes for your workstation operating system and version of Adobe Reader: Windows Adobe Reader version 7 or 8: In the “Printer” section, under “Comments and Forms”, choose “Document”. In the “Page Handling” section, set “Page Scaling” to "None". “Auto-Rotate and Center” should not be checked, and “Choose Paper Source by PDF page size” should be checked. The “Print to File” option should not be checked. Click the [Advanced] button and verify that “Print as Image” is checked. Click [OK]. Click [OK] to print your labels. Click HERE to view a screen shot of the print dialog. Adobe Reader version 6: In the “Page Handling” section, set “Page Scaling” to "None". “Auto-Rotate and Center” should not be checked, and “Choose Paper Source by PDF page size” should be checked. The “Print What:” section should be on "Document and comments". Click the [Advanced] button and verify that “Print as Image” is checked. Click [OK]. Click [OK] to print your labels. Click HERE to view a screen shot of the print dialog. Acrobat Reader version 5: In the “Printer” section, be sure that none of the boxes are checked. In the “Print Range” section, the "Comments" box should be checked In the “Copies and Adjustments” section, be sure that none of the boxes are checked. Click [OK] to print your labels. Click HERE to view a screen shot of the print dialog. Macintosh OS X Adobe Reader 8: The “Presets” should be set to “Standard” and “Copies and Pages”. Near the center of the page, under “Comments and Forms”, choose “Document”. The “Page Scaling” option should be set to "None". The “Auto-Rotate and Center” option should not be checked. Click [Print] to print your labels. Click HERE to view a screen shot of the print dialog. Adobe Reader 7: The “Presets” should be set to “Standard” and “Copies and Pages”. Acrobat Reader 5: Set Presets to “Standard” and “Acrobat Reader”. “Comments”, “Reverse Pages”, Shrink Oversized Pages to Paper Size”, and “Enlarge Small Pages to Paper Size” should not be checked. The “Print Method” drop-down should be set to “PostScript”. Click [Print] to print your labels. Click HERE to view a screen shot of the print dialog. Macintosh OS 9 Acrobat Reader 5: Click on “General” and choose “Acrobat Reader 5.0”. The “Shrink Oversized Pages to Paper Size” should not be checked. Click [Print] to print your labels.
