Can winter weather alone cause pixillation or total loss of a digital signal on an HDTV, esp. on HD channels? For the last five or six days, I have had a lot of either pixillation or total loss of some digital channels. Strangely enough, each night,, two HD channels have been on and free of pixillation problems. I have a splitter with one line going to the HDTV and the other to a VCR, but when I bypassed the splitter and ran the cable from the wall straight to the TV, there was no improvement in the pixillation or the loss of the HD channels. Has anyone else had the same problem on *CABLE*? (I thought this was a problem peculiar only to satellite TV.....) Besides weather, could there be some other cause of the disruption of the signal, which, today, is back to normal? -- Gordon Walter Retired AGWSR School Librarian 101 Hilltop Drive Ackley, Iowa 50601 Tel: 641-847-3315 Email: gordonwalter@mchsi.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
