The sad part of Corey's Story is that it is all true, and it affected me
profoundly. Still does.

Because Corey's foster home is on the other side of the city, he transferred to
another school after
a few months. It was better that he stayed with his foster family than have them
give him up
because getting him to school was too hard. However, I caught up with the t/l at
that school some
time ago and she tells me he is doing okay and remains one of the most ardent
borrowers. He has not
been reunited with is family - to have had three 'mums' in just seven years must be
tough, but bless
those who are willing to foster.

What breaks my heart is that there are too many Coreys here, and in the world, and
I can't touch
each of them. But I touched Corey and he touched me, and for that I will always be
grateful.
Barbara.
