[LM_NET] Announcing 2008 Ga. Children's Lit. Conference

FYI...Please read below information about the upcoming Georgia Children's 
Literature Conference in Athens, Georgia.  Some great authors/illustrators will 
be on-hand...including David Wiesner, Mo Willems, Cynthia Kadohata, Ian Ogilvy, 
and Brian Pinkney.  This conference is not overly large and allows attendees 
a slightly closer view of authors/illustrators.  Various concurrent sessions 
are also held with many librarians, teachers, and local authors (Diane Shore 
and Pam Alexander for example) presenting these sessions to share ideas on what 
they do in their libraries, rooms, etc.  An agenda of the conference (list of 
concurrent sessions & author/illustrator presentations) can be viewed by going

selecting "Conference Program" near the bottom right of the screen.
 
Before we all go on our holiday break we would like to remind you that 
registration for the 39th Annual Children’s Literature Conference, that will take 
place at the Georgia Center of Continuing Education, in  
Athens GA, on February 29 - March 1, 2008 is now available.
