As a member of YALSA's 2008 Teen Tech Week Committee, I'd like to pass on this announcement. Thanks! Frances Get connected with YALSA's Teen Tech Week mini-grants! The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) will award up to twenty mini grants, consisting of $450 cash and $50 worth of Teen Tech Week(tm) (TTW) products, for librarians who plan to offer inventive activities, resources and services to celebrate Teen Tech Week, March 2-8. Visit www.ala.org/teentechweek and click on "Contests" to read the official rules and download the application form. Applicants for the TTW Mini Grants must submit the official application form to the YALSA office at yalsa@ala.org by Jan. 7. Winners will be notified the week of Feb. 4. In addition to $450 cash for the winners' TTW plans, they'll receive a prize pack from ALA Graphics consisting of one full-size Teen Tech Week poster, three Teen Tech Week mini posters and two packets of bookmarks.
