[LM_NET] TAR: 7th Grade Class Novels

Hello all,

Our 7th grade is looking too add/replace/"get some more modern" titles
they read as a class. We're looking for replacements & additional titles
for some books they currently read.

Can you tell me what novels your 7th grade reads? Or, can you think of
any more "modern" replacements for some of the following titles?

Pacific Crossing by Gary Soto
A Light in the Forest by Conrad Richter
Cold River by William Judson
Call of the Wild by Jack London
