[LM_NET] historical pictures

Hello All,
     I'm hoping you can help.  I was at a conference last fall and saw a display of 
a project a Media Specialist had done with her students.  They were assigned a 
historical photo and used the Internet to find out answers to the questions, who, 
what, where, when and why.
     I copied down the site that was used to download the pictures and promptly 
lost it.  Does anyone have any idea where I could find such a site?
