Okay, I think I royally goofed. We use Spectrum for our cat/circ program. We have a bookmobile in which we have one Mac computer that is a stand-alone. A few times a year, I update this stand-alone computer by doing the following things. 1. Print off a report listing checkouts 2. Transfer all spectrum records from the server to a USB drive 3. Open up the stand-alone computer and delete all spectrum records. 4. Empty trash (have to do because of memory issues) 5. Replace all records from the USB drive. 6. Re-type circulation records back into the stand-alone Okay, here is what happened. When I went to re-type in the circulation records, I discovered that I had printed out the wrong report. Therefore, the stand-alone computer lost all of the circulation records. Question: Is there a way on a Mac that you can have it do a system restore back to a date. For example, can I have the computer revert back to where it was before I did the update? or are the records completely lost?
