[LM_NET] MID, SEC: Book Recommendation Help

  Hello, all!
  I had a student come to me today with a stumper.  He'd like to read a
book about war, preferably during medieval times or some other time
"when they fought with shields and swords."  He liked the idea of King
Arthur, but wanted something that read more like fiction, and rejected
anything fantasy related that I showed him.  (His comment was, all your
war books are about mice!)  We kept finding fact books that he liked the
titles of (Medieval Warlords, etc.) but when he saw the actual book he
indicated he wanted something smaller (again, I think he's really
thinking fiction).  I have no idea of what to recommend.  I hope some of
you can help suggest some books!  This is definitely not my area of
experience!
