[LM_NET] looking for a title

The book is a fiction adult book about the coast guard (perhaps, or other
military unit) There is an international freighter with nuclear weapons
coming from Russia and our boys had to protect Alaska.

This is driving my teacher crazy. Can anyone think of the title?
