Greetings again, different topic: Are any of you using an online database devoted to world history? A new class is being developed at our high school, and I am looking for online resources to support the curriculum. I can dig out the print resources, but the instructors want electronic resources as well. The resource would have to be truly WORLD history, not just European/Greco-Roman history. We will have ancient history units on China, India, (now) Middle-East, Egypt, Ancient African kingdoms, Korea and Japan. (The old favorite standards of Greece and Rome will be covered also.) The objective of the course is to study ancient cultures in various areas of the world, and relate them to current world events. Kinda sounds like a lot of fun. ;-) ...especially pulling all the resources together. Any ideas on electronic resources?
