Hi, all - I checked the archives for a HIT: on this topic. I found lots of targets, but not a lot of lists, so I apologize in advance for asking a question that seems to come up about once a year. I promise to post a HIT:. Our district passed a technology bond (thankfully!) and we are in the midst of a major network overhaul. We're moving from Windows 98 machines on a Novell Network, to Windows XP (eventually Vista conversion) on a Windows based Network. It's been really fascinating to be involved (in small ways) on this process. One of the difficulties that we are having is that a lot of our current, antiquated software just won't run on these new powerful machines. We've got a little bit of money to purchase new titles. Does anyone have any really great math software that they'd recommend for a K-4 environment? We are primarily looking for an operations drill to replace TurboMath Facts (doesn't run on XP), but I'd be all for suggesting something with a little more meat to it. It needs to be something that will run on XP. Thanks again for any advice you have!
