Nancy Willard's excellent discussion of Internet Safety brings me back to a question that I have had and struggle with every time I do something with Web 2.0 -- How much do I include about myself when I sign up for a site. Do I include a real picture? Do I include a real name? Esp, when it comes time to join something with other professionals, I don't like to feel like I am withholding information, but I feel like a Mom saying "It's not that I don't trust you; it's the other people...." Any thoughts? What works for you?
