Thanks for sharing, Mary.  I must say, Wow, to this opinion.  It is comforting to 
me, more liberal than conservative, to have these words to draw from in the future. 
 I've always appreciated the loving, Christian tones of C. S. Lewis, and I've 
bravely fought for our freedom to read Harry as an individual choice.   The words 
of Jeffrey Weiss, though, provide ample response to anyone I might be talking to 
about Harry Potter.  I'm glad to see such a thoughtful opinion in print that is so 
widely read.
