A recent post on another list requested information about schools that
had eliminated their librarians and filled the positions with clerical
staff and in the past, there have been comments made by librarians who
are dividing their time between two (or more) schools. Obviously,
these are not ideal situations but many librarians are filling the
gaps left when positions are not filled by certified librarians.

If you are dividing your time between schools, what type of schedules
do you have and how do you provide services among the different
schools? Do you have a master calendar with various campus times and
dates or do you keep separate calendars for different campuses? How do
teachers and administrators contact you for services---aside from
planning ahead? What happens when there is a "just in time" need and
you are not available to assist / teach?

Any insights, schedules, resources, etc. that you've used would be
appreciated. I'll post a hit if others (and I know there will be) are
interested.

Thanks!
