Having read and re-read the article specifically referred to in the
link (see below), I am puzzled. The article in the link, in which I
can't find the quote regarding "post Christian", does not smack of
"theological flaming" nor does it seem to play host to any ideas
representing "nationalistic bigotry". By all means, I don't want
either of these things being bandied about the listserv any more than
the rest of you, but in all fairness to the original posting, which
specifically referred to an article and called it "an opinion",
neither the linked article, nor the Harry Potter books inspire these
kinds of behaviors.
