[LM_NET] SEC, GEN: 9th Grade Read Aloud

Dear Group,

I am part of a committee creating a 9th grade advisory for next year.
One of the proposals is for a regular read aloud.  I am looking for
suggestions for short stories and novels that would lend themselves
to being read aloud in 15 minute chunks.  It needs to be suitable for
boys and girls and for all ability levels.

All suggestions welcome.
