Hi Kelli!
I've been toying with the idea in my middle school library too. What stops me is
that I can't decide what to do with the books that don't fit neatly into one
specific genre. The borders between genres can be pretty fuzzy - fantasy sometimes
overlaps with either horror or sci fi. Mystery is combined with horror or romance.
Do you need a "miscellaneous" or "none of the above" category?

Subject: Rearranging fiction by genre

Hi. I am a high school librarian and am considering rearranging my fiction
collection by genre. Is there anyone out there who has done this? Any pointers?
I have purchased the spine labels and have weeded to make extra space to spread
out. I am kind of overwhelmed at this point and wondering where to begin
(recataloging, rearranging, labeling . . .).

Thanks!
