Actually, 921 is not the proper Dewey for individual biographies, it is just one way we have made Dewey work for us. And what is under the classification number is local choice, as Dewey does not specify this. Cutter #, the first (however many you want) letters of the authors last name, or the biographees last name, are all local choice. If we had "Dewey police" we would all be in trouble.
