Before we "punish" local librarians for using confusing call numbers for 
biographies, we should start with the person or persons, who, many years ago 
confused everything by sending libraries with cataloging using 92 for ALL 
biographies, whether they were individual or collective biographies.  I'm 
sure many of us have had to deal with cleaning up this mess.  I still find 
one every once in awhile.
