My school is a PreK to 6th grade elementary school. In my school, our library is staffed by a teacher who covers preps for the classroom teacher. However, I believe that the library can be a place of true team teaching and collaboration. I am interested in finding out more about how other elementary school deal with: a) access to all grades b) covering preps vs teachers visiting with their students c) open access for the upper grade students in the elementary school Am I even being too simplistic? I would appreciate any thoughts that you could send.
