I'm in search of appropriate music for use in an iPhoto/iMovie or Powerpoint
slideshow for the end-of the year assembly, celebrating the many ways our students
have grown and learned. In the past, we've cobbled together public domain music
with short 20-30 second popular musical montages. The slideshow has grown to be 15
minutes + long, and this year I'd like to use longer pieces from the songs so the
lyrics can be heard... and avoid having the process of major audio editing. I'll
need make arrangements for the use of the music. If I'm paying to use it, I'd
like the music to sound great, be moving, and be appropriate for the event.
Of course, we'll approach Disney for High School Musical's "Were All In This
Together" (great message, clean lyrics)... but what else do you suggest? The music
doesn't have to be new, parents will make up half the audience, and they'll want to
recognize some of the songs too.
