For us California librarians (a rare and endangered species) going to the CSLA convention how about a toast to the LM_NET founders on Friday, 11/16 at 6:00pm in Misty's Lounge in the Doubletree Hotel? That is after exhibits close but before the President's Reception at 7:00. Peter, can you make it? I mean really, is the content of this message so profound that it bears repeating? The author is given to long-winded ramblings and everyone I know gets enough of that in their inboxes already. Sure, he's handsome, funny, and a great cook (and modest to a fault), but that doesn't mean everyone wants to read his e-mails. ________________________________ From: School Library Media & Network Communications on behalf of Brown, Linda Sent: Fri 11/2/2007 10:29 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: [LM_NET] A world-wide toast Hi Folks, At 7 p.m. (EST) tonight, I'll be sitting in front of my bonfire and hoisting a hot-cocoa toast to Peter and Mike.
