I have always taught that it is a good idea - if only to see what is out there and
what kind of vibes you get from the various libraries.Stop in to some of our
YALSA/PPYA meetings and say hello. In fact, that is an invite to everyone.AllanDr.

[LM_NET] ALA MidwinterI will complete my MSLIS degree in May of 2008 and am
considering the
ALA Midwinter meeting. Is it a good idea to attend the job fair at
the Midwinter meeting? Or are employers looking for candidates who
have already completed their degree?
