I'm new this year to my SLMS position in an elementary school. I did a 6 month leave replacement at a high school & that is where I also had experience as a teacher, so the elementary level is still pretty new to me. Now that I'm a bit into the year, I'm having some difficulty deciding how to organize my lesson plan files. I started organizing by grade level, but I don't think it's so successful. Some files were started under the book or author and I'm covering fairy tales in 3rd grade & that file has so many resources & it's getting *huge*. I'm curious as to what other SLMS have done. Please share what has worked, not worked & maybe why. If you can email me directly, I'll post a hit with the responses. TIA for your help!
