[LM_NET] TAR: RSS feeds

I have a staff member who is looking for a free RSS-style service that will give 
information on specific topics. I showed him Bloglines.com, and he thought that was 
ok, but was wondering if there is something that is more specific. His example was 
"what if I set up a feed to National Geographic, but I only want feeds on climate 
change". 
He is an elementary counselor if that helps me find something.
