Hope someone can help me. I have one of the newer iMacs, duo Intel
processors, 500 mg in desktop memory, running the newest 10.4 version
available. My machine is running slower and slower. I check it in case
it might have a virius, no it doesn't. Microsoft Office is the slowest
program to start up, but even the machine boots more slowly than it
did in August 2006 when I bought it. I run Main Menu on it often to
clean up permissions, etc. and that does not help. I install all the
updates to programs, etc. that Apples sends my way.

Do I need to purchase and run Spring Cleaning? Is there something I
should be doing for my Mac that I'm not? Any ideas?

Thanks so much! Barb Fritz
