First sent this 11/1 and have not seen it online or rec'd any feedback. Wondering if I have done something wrong in the Q. or other format issue. Please advise. Repeat of Q. follows: This is my first Q. so, please excuse if it it not correctly done. (Elem library, K-5) Our 398s are difficult to shelve and use. In past years only 398 was used for a time, then 398.2 and of course now more extensions. The result--things are a mess! Does anyone have experience, or a plan in which these can be regrouped so Native American Legends, Tall Tales, Fairy Tales etc. are placed together? So perhaps the various Cinderellas, Three Pigs, and so forth could be in one place? While helping a class of first graders find books in a 10 min. span, there just isn't a lot of time to check both the catalog and several different spots on the shelves to find where a book should be (and maybe isn't).
