Good day all you great mac users out there.! I just solved a problem with my Mac that occured with the last update to OS 10.4.11. (note a previous hit from 11 21 2007 and the wonderful ideas provided via LM_NET) Now, I have one more problem to clear up and then my computer will be, once, again, a great computer. have a newer iMac with 512 desktop memory. I can not log into the website for my school system that is hosted by SchoolWires.com (see my school web address below. ) I have checked all the other users of macs that I know and all have no problem with their computer which are all very similar to mine. So I know the problem is not a general Mac issue. The main tech person that works with SchoolWires, at our district, did tell me the site is picky about certificates, so I gamely dove into trying to figure out what was wrong on my certificates. I have no certificates. Hmmm. I believe I should have at least one that would have come with my computer. I will add that I use MainMenu all the time to clean up permissions, clear caches, etc., but that shouldn't effect the certificates. I recently added a virus protection program (Syste.. something or other) I have uninstalled that. That did not help. I don't understand what I need to do to create a certificate that SchoolWires will be happy with, if indeed that is my problem. Any ideas? Thank you so very much! Barb -- "Librarian.
