A teacher has asked me to find a book for a seventh grade girl who is a reluctant
reader, and the teacher is trying to inspire her and make a connection with what
she is going through presently in her life. She requested the book be about a
character who is going through a difficult time, but gets through it in a positive
way. I have been wracking my brain and cannot come up with anything. The only
book that comes to mind is The Outsider by S.E. Hinton, but that does not even come
close. I sure could use some help with this matter.
