It is getting to be time (already) to begin planning next year's budget. We currently spend a significant amount on periodical subscriptions (we subscribe to 27). With the exception of the occasional recreational reader of People, Seventeen, and EGW, they don't seem to be being used. Nearly all of them are indexed (with full text) in the on-line databases to which we subscribe. My question (and I do have one) is, what is the collective wisdom of this group regarding the continuation of hard copy periodical subscriptions? Please respond off list and I'll post a hit of the responses on Thursday. TIA, Paul *********************** Paul D. They are subversive. You think they're just sitting there at the desk, all quiet and everything. They're like plotting the revolution, man. I wouldn't mess with them."
