I am not going to make a case that charter schools should or should not exist, but I want to clarify something that many people don't understand. Charter schools CANNOT pick and choose who attends. They are funded with public money and all students have to be allowed access. One other thing. The charter school company I work for supports certified library media specialists and has them in the majority of their 50 plus schools.
