I am looking for some online workshops or programs that are somewhat
inexpensive but can provide my library assistants with some training
in areas such as technology, basic library skills, and perhaps an
overview of librarianship.

I am considering the Le@d program at the University of North Texas
(relatively inexpensive and covers some of what I'm interested in) but
also wondered if there might be other online programs that you've used
or that you think library assistants might find useful.

(For those who are interested, the Le@d program is
at:http://web2.unt.edu/cmp_lead/about.cfm )

I'll post a HIT, if there are any suggestions or if there are others
who are interested.

Thanks!
