Karen Kingsbury's books are very easy to read and my students love her books. They are the most popular fiction books in my school's library. I did meet her at our local bookstore where she gave an hour long talk and answered questions. She seemed like a very nice and caring person. I was very impressed. If you include inspirational books in you library, I would definitely include this author's books.Ria Faber, Librarian Covenant Christian HS, Grand Rapids MI ria_faber@hotmail.com Library Website: http://www.covenantchristianhs.org/Library/"Some books are so familiar that reading them is like being home again." Much to my surprise, today I received 2 free books from author Karen Kingsbury. The enclosed letter states that she is donating 5,000 copies of her book, _A thousand tomorrows_ to honor the memory of her brother, who strongly valued libraries. (What a lovely thing to do!) Does anyone know this book or this author? I looked at her website (http://www.karenkingsbury.com/) which confirmed my suspicion that she is a religious author. I see that the book is a love story -- Anyone have this in a middle school? We get so few brand-new books but I do want to be sure it's an appropriate read for my kids. I do plan on reading it before I put it out. Just thought I'd get a heads up if any of you are familiar with it.
