We have a "Career Cafe" located in the media center where students may use
the Career Cruising website and various materials to help them decide what
comes next after high school. We have restaurant-type tables and chairs and
of course the next logical progression in the minds of most is to add coffee
and tea.

We have been asked to research what would be involved with the addition of
coffee and possibly baked goods for sale. I searched the archives and see a
lot of people have done this on a sporadic basis and it looks like a
few might do this regularly. If you have a permanent setup, it would be
great if you would be willing to share the pitfalls and practicalities.
Some of our questions are:

1-Who staffs the area and is responsible for cleanup?
2-What types of equipment were purchased (coffee makers?) and what was the
cost?
3-Does the board of health come to inspect?
4-Do you collect taxes?

Any and all comments and advice welcomed. TIA.
