I have just started to pull mine out into a "graphic novels" section, but I really like the idea of "graphic materials." Have you had any problems with that title, i.e, people misunderstanding the use of the word "graphic"? The same as we did for the comic books. I have mine in a separate section "Graphic Materials" and include all: fiction, non-fiction, etc - all catalogued but with GRA above the call number and an orange sticker on the top spine.
