Thanks to all of you who helped me find this website for a new seventh grade
science teacher (https://www.gc.maricopa.edu/biology/glacier/scientific_method).
The teacher had used the website last year, but with a slightly different URL. It
was very gratifying seeing him using it with students. He was so grateful and
amazed that I solved his problem so quickly--I had to admit that I'd had help from
thousands of librarians. I learned some things about Internet searching that I
thought may be helpful to others.

"You might be able to find it by using the Way Back machine. You put in an
old URL and they try to find it in archives. http://www.archive.org/web/web.php"

Some suggestions for alternate sites:
http://forest.mtu.edu/kidscorner/method.html
http://spot.colorado.edu/~dubin/bookmarks/b/1240.html
http://science.nhmccd.edu/bioL/index.html

"I think the Maricopa Community College may be the source. The broken link page
for the original site said to connect to Glendale Community College. A search on
their site for Maricopa sent you to Maricopa Community College. A search on that
site gave me this page which requires a login.
https://www.gc.maricopa.edu/biology/glacier/scientific_method/ also this site that
does not require a sign in
http://staff.gc.maricopa.edu/~rreavis/ScientificMethodHandout.pdf"

"ou might try e-mailing the college to see if it was, indeed, part of their
website. Explain how useful it was and ask if the site will be available again
(perhaps with a new address??) any time soon. I had to do this several years ago
with a music education site that our chorus teacher was using for lesson plans and
they let us know once the revised site was back up."
