One of the things I've done when a teacher says they have used something
from my collection, and I can't find it right away, is to do a patron
inquiry in my circulation. I type in their name, and do an inquiry. Then I
check their Circ Log. This shows whether they ever checked out the item.
It is amazing, when I go back and say I have no record of them checking out
what they are asking about. They usually remember they got it from the
public library....OR I will find out it looks nothing like what they had
described but when I get it to them they say - That's it!! Hope this helps.
