For National Poetry Month, I am creating a display with the favorite poems of faculty and staff at my campus. I need your help locating one of them. The teacher thinks the title is "The Lost Hour" or "The Golden Hour." She memorized it in high school in the early 70s. She recalls these lines: I lost a golden hour today I let it slip unused away. I only idled on and on Then looked for it and it was gone. I had not meant to waste it so I didn't look, I didn't know. I didn't use it carefully I only let it slip from me. I would like to have the full text of the poem and poet's name. I have searched Yahoo, Google, Google Books, and some databases, but I can't find anything with lines similar to these. Surely, one of you can point me in the right direction.
