LM_NET Archive

Hello all,
Here's the opposite of Toni Koontz's request, books that have been
turned into films. I tried to find the list of recent movies from
books, but it seems as if the February archives are unavailable, and
I think that's when that discussion appeared. If anyone has that
list, please send it to me. I am presenting a program at a science
fiction convention called Penguicon in Novi, Michigan in a couple of
weeks. The topic is Harry Potter and the Silver screen-- Why are
all successful fantasy movies based on young adult fiction and what's
on the horizon? I have several websites for reference and magazine
articles as well. I'd like to present the librarian opinion, since
this is a different audience than just us librarians. This
convention is also for Linux, a computer program language and maybe
they'll be interested as well! I will post a hit with my websites
found and a general summary after the program. Thanks in advance for
your assistance!!
