It is widely used by our excellent multi-county public library system. This year I wanted to "splurge" and buy one for my school use. However, it had to pass muster from our IT department first!!!!!! The request was sent to IT where it languished for almost a month. I didn't realize it required "software" approval until I checked why the requisition request was taking so long. "Oh, I'm sorry but IT has to approve it first. They are very busy over there, do you want me to check on its progress so far?" I steamed, CANCELLED the order and stomped out of the office. I know it's not a professional reaction, but I'm tired of non-teachers directed so much of my business!!! I know that the product is good and provides many opportunities to connect books and readers. It comes with Photoshop software that enables you to create layers for background, text, and your own pictures. And it seems wonderful, but mine did not come with instructions and is a bit more complicated than I imagined!! If you have used this software and can find the time, please send easy to follow instructions to get me started. Thanks. Donna Burke Media Specialist Heritage Year-Round Middle School 3400 Rogers Rd.
