Maybe one of you can solve this puzzle. I have a 5th grade teacher who wants me to identify a research source for his social studies class that is studying the various forms of economies, using these labels: "market economy", "command economy" and "mixed economy". I have been over the databases we subscribe to (Culturegrams, World Book, etc.) and while they all have entries under a subheading of economy for each country, they don't actually identify the type of economy, using these labels. Inferences can be made based on the definitions of these labels and the type of government, but it gets tricky because there appears to be so many exceptions to the rules. Any ideas?
