Thanks again to all who replied. While many sympathized with me as to why I wasn't sure about editing the reviews, the consensus was that light editing (for spelling/grammar/sense) of student book reviews is a good idea. It was also mentioned that the editing issue was a great opportunity to discuss the writing and/or publishing process (i.e., use of an editor, revision, etc.) with the students. Also mentioned, once again, was the necessity to check with the local district regarding security requirements as to how to identify the reviews. The majority leaned toward first name and grade. -- Ronda Y.
